This team is a better fit for newer players but isn't very competitive overall. The wide range of skill levels can make it harder for stronger players to keep developing at the pace they might on a more competitive team. If your player is on the cusp of making an A team and B team, there are probably better B team options for higher-level development. That said, the coaches did a great job with the group they had. The boys got along well, the parents were friendly, and there was no drama or negativity, even during tough weekends. We did run into a few communication hiccups throughout the season, around practice locations and tournament dates.

Coaching turnover has been a noticeable issue and has made it difficult to establish consistency and long-term development for the players. Each change seems to reset progress to some extent. That said, the group of parents and players is a big plus—there’s a strong sense of community and the kids genuinely enjoy being part of the team.
