Houston Cougars is a summer tournament program that brings together middle- and high-school boys from public and private schools across the Houston area and beyond. Its purpose is simple: keep sticks in players’ hands after the school season, give them additional game experience and expose them to teammates and opponents they may not normally see. Teams are organized by age level, and the program uses summer practices and tournaments to help players continue improving their skills while growing as teammates and young men. “Heart and Hustle” is the phrase the program uses to describe its identity.
