Maine Mussels Lacrosse uses the word GROW as its coaching framework: Greatness, Respect, Opportunistic play, a Winning attitude, Team-first behavior and Honesty. Younger players are taught stick skills, game understanding, teamwork and sportsmanship, while high-school athletes add recruiting guidance and more targeted exposure. Programs include travel lacrosse, a junior academy and less-structured formats that encourage creativity. Across those levels, the club’s mission is straightforward—grow the game in Maine through proper training and technique while helping players keep their love for lacrosse.
