Metro Lacrosse Club was founded in 1999 to create more opportunities for girls in the New York metropolitan area to play outside the traditional school season. What began with a travel team expanded into a larger club and clinic program across New York and New Jersey. Its mission is centered on empowering young women through lacrosse and helping players set and pursue goals. Player development, sportsmanship, leadership, accountability, responsibility and camaraderie are the core values Metro identifies as the foundation of the program.
