Buffalo Lacrosse Academy began in 2005 to bring higher-level training, recruiting opportunities and stronger offseason lacrosse options to Western New York and Southern Ontario. Team Buffalo players train and compete in spring/summer and fall, with additional winter work built into the year. The schedule changes with age: younger teams generally stay closer to home, while older groups move into more competitive travel events and recruiting-focused showcases. The organization lists character development, friendship, grit, skill development and college recruiting among its core principles.
